Ingredients

  • 1 package Indomie ramen noodles
  • 1 tablespoon neutral oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • cup vegetables (any combination like peas, corn, carrots, celery, mushrooms)
  • sriracha (to taste)
  • ½ green onion (sliced)

Instructions

  • Cook the Indomie noodles according to the package instructions. Reserve ¼ cup of the cooking water and drain the rest. Set the noodles aside.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of oil and fry an egg over medium-high heat until it's crispy on the bottom. Flip it over and cook the other side for 15 seconds. Remove the egg and set aside. Reduce the heat to medium.
  • In the same pan, add the garlic and cook it for 15 seconds. Add vegetables and cook for another minute.
  • Add the cooked noodles, the seasoning packet, and the reserved broth. Stir to coat everything well.
  • Transfer the Indomie noodles to a bowl and top them with the fried egg, sriracha, and sliced green onions. Enjoy!

Notes

Variation: Instead of a fried egg, you can boil the egg with the ramen noodles in Step 1. For a soft-boiled egg, submerge the egg for an additional 4 minutes after removing the ramen. If you prefer a medium-boiled egg, cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
