Steamed Broccoli
This is my go-to recipe when I need a quick, healthy side dish. Follow the instructions, and you'll be guaranteed perfectly tender yet crisp broccoli in just 5 minutes. You can eat it plain or season with salt, pepper, olive oil, or lemon juice.

Instructions
Fill a pot with 1-inch of water. Place a steamer basket inside. Bring to a boil over high-heat then reduce to medium-high heat.
Add the broccoli in a single layer. Steam for 4-5 minutes until tender and crisp.
Remove the broccoli from the steamer and season with salt, pepper, lemon juice, or extra virgin olive oil, if desired.
