Servings 36 balls

Ingredients

  • 36 regular Oreo cookies
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese (softened)
  • 16 ounces of your choice of chocolate (semi-sweet, dark, white, or milk)

Instructions

  • Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Add the Oreos to a food processor and process until you have fine crumbs. Reserve 2 tablespoons for sprinkling later.
  • In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until soft, about 1 minute. Stir in the Oreo crumbs.
  • Scoop 1-2 tablespoon portions and roll into balls. Place on the baking sheet. Freeze for at least 20 minutes until firm.
  • Melt the chocolate in the microwave or in a double boiler.
  • Dip each Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, then place on the baking sheet. Immediately sprinkle with some of the reserved crumbs.
  • Chill for at least 20 minutes, or until the chocolate is set. You can store these in the fridge for up to one week, or keep them in your freezer. They actually make a great frozen snack.
