Honey Garlic Chicken Wings

These sweet and sticky honey garlic chicken wings are my guilty pleasure. Made with simple pantry ingredients and baked to perfection, they're the best restaurant-quality appetizer at home.

For the honey garlic sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 450°F. Line a baking sheet with foil, then place a wire rack on top.
  • Dry the wings thoroughly with paper towels, then transfer to a large bowl. Add the oil, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper, and mix until evenly coated.
  • Spread the wings out on the wire rack, leaving a little space between each wing. Bake for 45-50 minutes, turning them over once halfway through, until they are golden and crispy.
  • In the meantime, make the sauce. Add all the ingredients to a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce to a gentle simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and starts foaming.
  • Combine the wings and sauce in a large bowl, then toss to coat. Serve immediately.
