Chinese Ginger Milk Tea

This Chinese-style Ginger Milk Tea is warm, refreshing, and reminds me of the popular ginger milk pudding from Chinese restaurants. It's easy to make and goes great with breakfast.

Instructions

  • Bring the water to a boil in a small pot. Remove from the heat, add the tea and ginger, and let it steep for 10 minutes.
  • Stir in evaporated milk and sweetened condensed milk. Strain the tea into two serving cups and enjoy! Make sure not to squeeze the tea bags as it'll make the tea more bitter, and the bag may break.

Notes

Make Ahead: The ginger tea can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. When you're ready to serve, heat up the tea in the microwave or stove, then stir in the evaporated milk and condensed milk.
