Bisquick Dumplings

Bisquick dumplings are easy to make and a simple way to elevate a soup or stew. I learned this method from Tiktok and I tried it in my Chicken stew last week and it turned out AWESOME.

Instructions

  • Add the Bisquick to a medium bowl. Add the milk and mix until JUST combined. Do not overmix or the dumplings will be tough.
  • When your soup or stew is boiling, dip a spoon in the soup or stew, then scoop a ball of dough and drop it into the pot. Add as many dumplings as you can fit, then cover with a lid and cook for 12-15 minutes.
  • Be careful not to overcook these as I find they tend to disintegrate if they go too long. Enjoy.

Notes

The ratio of Bisquick to milk is 3:1 so you can easily scale this recipe for a crowd. Use 1 cup of Bisquick per ⅓ cup of milk.
