    About This Recipe

There is nothing better than having steak for dinner. Now, what if I told you you can make it in the air fryer? I know it might sound crazy, but this genuinely works and tastes delicious. I saw this method being done by some TikTokers, and I had to try it for myself.

To start, cut the steak into bite-sized pieces. About 1.5 inches is perfect. If the pieces are too small, the steak will cook too quickly before the outside caramelizes. Most people want medium-rare, so aim for pieces at least 1.5 inches. After that, coat the pieces in spices and pop them in the air fryer. Four minutes gives you rare, five minutes is medium-rare, six minutes is medium, and eight minutes is well done. Finally, toss them in a big bowl with parsley and melted butter to give them that garlic butter flavor.

These air fryer steak bites are quick, super flavorful, and the air fryer does all the work. It's the perfect recipe to whip up on a busy weeknight, and it'll hit the spot every time! My wife and I were both pleasantly shocked by how well these turned out, and I'm sure you'll love them too!

    Key Ingredients

    ingredients prepped in bowls.

Steak: Sirloin or ribeye steaks are my personal favorites, as they have lots of marbling and are very tender after high-heat cooking. Other popular cuts are NY strip, tenderloin, or even flank steak.

Garlic: Fresh garlic will give you the best flavor. Mince them as finely as possible (even grating on a microplane is fine), to release as much of their flavor onto the beef as possible

Spices: All you need for delicious steak bites are garlic powder, paprika, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.

Melted butter & parsley: After air-frying, we toss the steak with butter and parsley to create the garlic butter flavor. Use fresh parsley, and either flat or curly is fine here.

    Instructions

steak cubes tossed with spices and garlic in bowl.

STEP 1: In a large bowl, combine the minced garlic, olive oil, and spices. Toss with the steak to coat all over.

seasoned steak spread in air fryer basket.

STEP 2: Spread the steak in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

STEP 3: Air-fry for 4-8 minutes, or until desired doneness. (4 minutes for rare, 5 minutes for medium-rare, 6 minutes for medium, and 8 minutes for well done)
