Tim Hortons Hot Chocolate Recipe

My copycat Tim Hortons Hot Chocolate recipe is made with four simple ingredients, and it tastes just like the original. You can mix it with warm water or milk, but I recommend milk for the extra creaminess.

Instructions

  • Combine cocoa powder, sugar, milk powder, and cornstarch in a medium bowl. Whisk thoroughly. Pass it through a fine-meshed strainer to get rid of lumps.
  • Use ¼ cup of powder for every cup of hot chocolate. Whisk the ingredients together in a small saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Whisk constantly to ensure the cornstarch doesn't settle at the bottom.

Notes

Storage: Store hot cocoa mix in the pantry for up to 6 months, depending on the freshness of your milk powder.
