Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F and set the rack in the middle position.
In a large nonstick pan, melt the butter over high heat. Add the beef and onions and cook for 8 minutes until the beef is no longer pink and the onions are translucent.
Add the garlic and continue cooking for 1 minute.
Add the frozen vegetables and cook for 1-2 minutes until they are warm.
Add the condensed cream of mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer then remove from the heat. Stir in 1 cup of the cheddar cheese.
Transfer the mixture to a 3qt casserole dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Add the Tater tots in a single layer on top. Bake for 45-50 minutes until the Tater tots are browned and the sides are bubbly. Enjoy!
