These Stir-Fried Udon Noodles With Pork are the perfect weeknight dinner and only take 30 minutes to make! The sauce is sweet and savory and made with Hoisin sauce.
Combine all the sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
Boil udon noodles for 1 minute, or follow the instructions on the package if using dry noodles. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat oil over high heat. Add ground pork and cook until it's no longer pink. Add the ginger and garlic and cook for one minute until it smells delicious.
Reduce heat to medium-low, add udon noodles and sauce mixture, mix thoroughly, and cook until the noodles are warmed. Add extra water as needed if the noodles are too dry. Top with green onions and sriracha, and serve while hot.
Notes
Chicken Stock: Homemade chicken stock is the best, but you can use store-bought stock or mix chicken bouillon powder with water.Udon: You can choose either cooked or dried udon noodles. I recommend cooked udon noodles because they take only one minute to cook. Look for them in vacuum-sealed bags in the noodle section or in plastic bags in the freezer section. The key to this recipe is achieving the perfect sauce consistency. You may need to add a bit of water to loosen it up for a nice, slurpable texture.
