mushrooms
(any combination of button, cremini, portabello, shiitake, or porcini mushrooms)

butter

garlic

Instructions
Rinse mushrooms under cold, running water. Gently massage them to remove any dirt and mud. Drain them in a colander or use a salad spinner.
Cut mushrooms in half. For shiitake mushrooms, remove and discard the stems, which are tough and woody.
In a large pan, bring 1 cup of water with ½ teaspoon of salt to a boil. Add mushrooms and boil for 3-5 minutes, then drain the water.
Add butter and garlic, and saute for 1 minute. Enjoy!
